Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q:  When is the annual assessment due?

A:  Although the amount and timing of the assessment is at the discretion of the homeowner’s board of directors, information regarding the current year assessment is usually sent out at the first of the year with assessments due by February 1st.  It's important to pay your dues on time.  Not only will it cost you $25 in late fees every 30 days late, but it impairs the ability of the neigborhood to pay its debts timely.  For more information, refer to the Bylaws Article XI and Deed Restrictions Paragraph 2.

Q:  I want to build a storage shed, install a pool, etc.  What am I required to do?

A:  Before starting any construction, approval must be obtained from the architectural review committee.  In order to obtain approval, contact the architectural review lead member and provide them with detailed information, including any drawings, of the proposed improvement.  Refer to the contacts list here.

Q:  How do I report a problem with a street light?

A:  Contact LG&E directly at:   https://secure.eon-us.com/common/CallCenterMail/contact_lge_streetlight.asp

Q:  Why doesn’t the neighborhood upgrade the street lights to be more efficient?

A:  The neighborhood doesn’t pay for the street light energy usage.  Instead, the street lights are billed on a per-pole basis.  LG&E owns and maintains the light fixtures.  Upgrading the light fixtures has been studied in the past and was determined to be cost-prohibitive.
